Away from agricultural land, near forested green space in Kent, Ohio . . .
- Edge-of-the-Woods apiary started as a sanctuary for bees and to assist pollination of local gardens. We are producing honey from hives in a sheltered backyard in Kent, Ohio. Near large tracts of green space, our bees are fond of nearby Basswood and Locust trees and are not fed GMO corn syrup or GMO beet sugar. We do not use systemic pesticides or antibiotics. We avoid heating our honey, but give instructions for reversing crystallization if desired or necessary.
- Edge-of-the-Woods honey can be found locally--and seasonally--at the Kent Natural Food Co-op, Scribble's Cafe, and One Love Yoga.
- We believe honey should be savored, not eaten in excess or thoughtlessly.
- Use honey wisely: For health, inspiration, and love!
